# Platform Workflow

> How the published client workflows move from request submission to final status.

# Platform Workflow

SVRN separates the initial client request from longer-running downstream work so onboarding, due diligence, and reconciliation can progress without forcing the caller to wait for every internal step.

## Request Lifecycle

1. **Authenticate:** Clients exchange credentials for a bearer token before calling protected endpoints.
2. **Submit work:** Requests create onboarding records, due diligence cases, or reconciliation sessions.
3. **Process asynchronously where needed:** External review, file processing, and downstream settlement steps continue after the initial request when appropriate.
4. **Observe status:** Clients poll detail and list endpoints to track progress and final outcomes.

## Reliability Model

* Ordered processing reduces duplicate side effects in multi-step workflows.
* Durable audit storage preserves an end-to-end record of submitted work and status transitions.

## Integration Boundaries

* **Client applications:** use bearer-authenticated endpoints for authentication, onboarding, due diligence, and reconciliation.
* **Signer actions:** happen out of band through emailed links after a credit offer is published.
